JAGR Design’s upholstered furniture is manufactured using labor-intensive, Old-World techniques that provide remarkable comfort and exceptional durability. Each hardwood frame supports both a seat and back of eight-way hand-tied coil springs, covered with real horsehair batting and upholstered in muslin, a foundation prized for its comfort and resilience. A second layer of batting in cotton is then applied before the finish fabric is stitched in place. Each cushion is blended of equal parts white goose down and feathers for softness and body.
